I just graduated in December from FSU, and I loved all four years here. The first year for me was rough- I hated change and was homesick, but I would have been that way no matter which school I chose. After getting used to it, FSU became amazing. I wasn't involved in Greek life at all and still had a great time. So if you're worried about that, don't be. Yeah, there is a big "Greek" population, but there is on most college campuses. Plus it's not really that big of a deal. Just because the school has a lot of students doesn't mean you can't be who you are…I do agree that the party scene is heavily present, but that's really college in general. It's honestly about your own choices. The classes are big in your freshman year, but it's kind of fun and different. That goes away pretty quickly and most of your classes will be small and easy to talk to the teacher in. Overall it's just a great school with a good vibe. It has it's good and bad points as any college will but there's something about Florida State that makes it worth it. Definitely have no regrets about coming here over the other schools.
