My science labs were horrendous. Half the labs were incomplete because there wasn't any money for supplies. Buildings are very old and are hazardous. The nursing building tested positive for asphestos, which can lead to major lung problems. It's especially a problem if you are highly allergic to dust—so much of a problem that a professor couldn't be counted to teach the course in the building except on certain days when we weren't in the building. Pipes in the architecture building are exposed with construction openly displayed and being conducted in the hallway hindering the flow of student traffic and safety.ADMINISTRATION IS HORRIBLE. THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH HOWARD. EVERYTHING TAKES FOREVER TO PROCESS, PEOPLE LOSE YOUR PAPERWORK, AND THE ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF IS NOT EVERY HELPFUL. THE SCHOOL IS HIGHLY UNORGANIZED AND NEEDS TO PUT EVERYTHING ON THE COMPUTER RATHER THAN DEPENDING ON PAPERWORK. I GUARANTEE YOU—IT WILL TAKE YOU AT LEAST A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEK TO GET SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS DROPPING A CLASS DONE. AND IF YOU TRY TO CHANGE YOUR MAJOR—GOOD LUCK. |
