Statistical Analyzer:

I love the campus, some of the people, and some of the courses. But this school has so many negative aspects that it really takes a toll on you. The computer systems they use are riddled with errors. They lost three of my transcripts and could not figure out which they were missing. They also told me they were missing transcripts when they were in there file. The advising people in Muir college are tremendously rude and love to wield there power over your head. The people in financial aid are really nice and care for you. They will force you to take additional courses (2-6) to graduate, depending on the college within ucsd that you are placed. These are courses that are besides the GEs you already have to take and your major courses. The libraries are only open on a limited basis. You can not find parking at all here, and passes are ridiculously expensive (about $700 yr). That said there are a few extremely great people here, and will drop everything to help you. The trick is to find them, I have only found 2 out of the 50,000 people that are here. One thing that really ticks me off is that all the emphasis and money goes to the graduate students. They do not have paid tutors or aid for engineering students. They have tutors for math and programming.
