Touro College is a unique school. There are parts that can be annoying, it is true. They have an outdated registration system (completely in person) virtually no online presence and are a little weak in certain arts. But if you are looking for an extremely solid science education, Touro is an excellent choice. Besides all the basic 101's and 102's, there are many science courses, particularly in the Health science and Biology, that are hard to find in other schools. I am currently taking Endocrinology and Immunology, and took a stellar two-semester Anatomy & Physiology course, as well as a an extremely challenging but very interesting Microbiology course. The staff (secretaries, etc.) are not always the nicest. Finding things out can be tough. But if you are looking for a solid science education, Touro is a great place. |
