If you want lots of opportunities this is the place. If there isn't a program here set up already there are lots of professors wanting to start new things and help out their students. The course work can be challenging if you are wanting to excel, other wise you can find an easy way out, just like any college or university. No MSU is not in a big city but it would not be MSU if it was. The university provides so many activities concerts, games, shows etc. that I do not have enough time to attend all that I want to. The residential colleges really help with getting you involved but you as the student still have to walk yourself out of your room to become involved. Once you start having fun and attending events you cant stop. Other students will want you there and invite you to go with them, and wonder where you are if you are not there
