I've been here almost four years and am finishing up my degrees in anthro and psych. There are a bunch of opportunities here you just have to get involved. It gets a little boring after a while, with the lack of football and true campus athletics, but what is there is good and if you make the most of it you will have fun. It doesn't have the feel of a big state school, but if you are looking for a nice quiet pretty campus this absolutely fits the bill. A word to the wise. Try to live on campus more than just one year. Freshman year is always pretty crummy, but the on campus experience is worth at least 2 years of your time before moving off, the convenience of walking to classes is really nice. If I had to do it all again, I might have gone somewhere else, but I've had lots of good fortune at UWF, and plenty of good memories so I can still highly recommend it to anyone. |
