That would probably depend on your major, like any health major, yeah this is true. But for ANY business major, Rutgers is literally useless. If you got accepted to the Business School, be proud of yourself for getting in, but go somewhere else- I mean that sincerely. See, the business school's requirements are all artificial. To tell you a little more, it's very competitive, but a really good business school is defined by their "network" of recruiters and their career services. Each department at Rutgers (recruiters and career services) don't provide "good" jobs like Investment Banking, sales & trading…etc. Instead, they all are filled with all these jobs that you could've gotten if you went to say William Patterson, or Seton Hall. They offer a lot of jobs, but they aren't quality jobs. The appropriate analogy would be this: Would you want to have access to 2 peices of gold, or would you rather have access to unlimited rocks? If you're a smart kid, with impressive stats and want to do business, pay the extra money where it's worth it, like UPenn, Cornell, Columbia, NYU…etc. even Baruch. You'll be dissappointed at Rutgers. If your only option is Rutgers, and you're not sure what you want to major in, go to a health profession, like pre-med. You could probably hack it if you got into the business school anyway. |
