I've made so many friends who actually take the time to get to know you as an individual and there are SO MANY things to do in Philly, the social life is definitely not lacking. What I wasn't prepared for was the coursework… it is EXTREMELY difficult!!!! I thought high school would prepare me for college, but oh was I mistaken! Do not plan on attending Penn if you're not prepared to work your flippin tail off, only to end up with lots of C's. Don't let high school make you think you're the highest intellect around, I fell for that trick. All in all, Penn is amazing, and everyone I've met have been nice and welcoming, but again, I wasn't prepared for the work, and trust me, it's been hell. |
