When I was college shopping I found a few schools where the people seemed very clique-y and uninterested in making friends. The minute you step onto the campus at Marist you can feel the friendliness of the student body. The view is incredible. Every day I walk to class wondering if I'll ever get tired of looking at the Hudson River or waking up to a view of the river in my room. I don't think I ever will. The dorm rooms are a decent size…I have no problem living in them. There's actually a lot more space than you would think if you loft your bed and get containers for under the bed. The cleaning staff keeps the dorms really neat all the time so there's nothing bad there!I have enjoyed almost every single one of my classes at Marist, which a lot of people can't say about their college. All of the teachers are really nice and energetic and will get to know you as a person. I've found all of the work interesting and applicable in some way to my life.Everyone likes to think that the college they attend is the best, but really…Marist College is the best place to be. It's such a great atmosphere for learning and for making friends. There's no school out there that could be better. |
