They offer not one single engineering class of any kind. They don't even require certain classes to graduate, that some Universities expect you to have already completed before transfer. Every time I go to an advisor for help they always seem to be rushing me out of the door and not really trying to understand my situation. They gave me no information I didn't already know and just seemed to not care. I had to go the wep page of the University, I plan to attend, to find out that I wouldn't have the required courses to transfer in my junior year. Some of the teachers can be complete idiots and barely know the subject. Some can be smart but don't know how to teach. I have had only two good professors, my english comp and college algebra, who actually knew the subject well and knew how to teach it.So basicly, I wasted a year of my life and money going to this school that will get me nowhere. I'm currently trying to transfer to Valencia which has an articulated engineering program with UCF. VCC might be an hour away from me but deffinetly is worth the drive. They actually offer engineering classes and seem to have an overall better program. My advice to anyone looking to major in engineering is to look into Valencia instead. |
