In terms of socializing, groups, and activities. Although it is a commuter school, I've heard the campus is dead on Friday's and weekends. Food is okay. Facility varies from each major. You'll find some that are amazing, and some that have no idea what they are talking about. Some are harder than others, within the Neuroscience major, its still fairly new major and the kinks and bugs are getting sorted out. I'd say start research with professors soon, even if you are thinking of going to medical school. Plans might change and you'll regret not participating in the research available. Mason has the Krasnow Institute which is excellent with research. I heard Mason and some place in California are the top institutes, which is pretty impressive. Overall Mason is an okay school. I think people take it for granted its very diverse and the gym's are ok. I heard VCU has rock-climbing which Mason is lacking but hey… You can't have it all. |
