It is like a Fraternity hazing - and most of the instructors could give a heck whether you succeed or not..it is all about the money. The program chair doesn't ever return emails or phone calls. She won't even look you in the eye when you speak to her (Wanda Dantzler). Very unapproachable. Then there is another instructor - Janet Beckemeyer who should flat out be fired. She doesn't know how to teach, doesn't use her class time well, and does not even care to try and give you the tools you need to succeed. She has a dreadful attitude when students ask questions and gets very defensive if she doesn't know the answers. Shows favoritism to her little pets - and flat out lies when it comes to grading practical reviews. I've had a ton of professors, and she is without a doubt - the absolute worse!!! There is only one teacher in the program who cares about her students - Lavon Moore - she knows her subject, motivates students and feels it is her mission to make sure we leave with all the proper tools…She is wonderful and when they talk about teachers who make a difference - she is one. |
