Statistical Analyzer:

Seton Hill is an excellent school. However, if you are interested in getting teaching certification DO NOT COME HERE. The reason I say this is because SHU is a liberal arts school, and you must take a ridiculous amount of 'liberal arts' courses. Those liberal arts courses along with the education courses PLUS the courses you have to take in your area of certification are a lot to handle.

You will not graduate in four years. Then, there are people at state colleges who do half the work you do and they end up with teaching jobs. I am strongly thinking about going to a state school. I love the professors and the seriousness of Seton Hill, but all of that work to teach? I think not.

If you want to be a teacher and you want to finish in 4 years…think twice about coming here and look into the program.
