Crafton Hills does not offer a large variety of courses to pursue. They had to cutback and drop about 15 of their better classes due to over-budgeting on the campus scenery. Many teachers, if not all, are atheists and covertly admit it and spread their ideas. The teachers themselves are alright, until they find out you are "one of those poor delusional crazy's who still believe in a God," then they treat you like a third-rate citizen. The classrooms are in good condition, and the physical condition of the school is just about all it has going for it. Security guards are preying on you around the speed radars to make their quota. Parking ticket prices are way over-priced, and you cannot park anywhere on campus without a permit. So, if you do not have a permit, you can park outside campus perimeters… and walk a good half mile to your classes. The campus scenery is great, and the equipment is good too, but the atmosphere is dull and bleak. Schoolwork is not very tough, and a few teachers have actually just repeated examples from the book on the board… A+ for creativity right? Lectures are total bullshit since they are mainly biased to the teacher's perspective of events and views in general. If I could, I would get the hell out of there A.S.A.P. given the opportunity, but I am underfunded. Even so, the amount I pay for one semester should entitle me to a better learning environment than this one. Most students are atheists also and laugh whenever anyone brings up God or any religious idea in class - but it is somehow ok to spark an atheist discussion. Fair in modern terms right? (Or at least thats the feeling you get from the school) - and the teachers usually give approval. Books are alright, but also seem inaccurate for the most part. Teachers teach at the margin, meaning they teach what you need to know for the test… Overall I rate crafton a C-, and I struggled not to assign any worse. |
