Although students have always been bright and hard-working (and partiers), recent incoming students overall have somehow raised the bar even higher. They have started to form a positive link to the city, in a permanent way. Before 2005, I'm not sure I would have stayed in the city. Post-Katrina, I and MANY of my friends have found they just could not stay away from New Orleans. I have positive memories of Tulane. I have incredibly fond memories of New Orleans. This city gets into you and becomes your home. Tulane made it happen for me, and I am forever grateful. |
