I was accepted to several schools but chose ACU due to a shared religious affiliation, academic rigor and proximity to home (austin, tx). The best thing about ACU was the opportunity outside the classroom. I worked on several marketing research projects with local companies and overseas during my study abroad experience. I had a great internship that was offered to me through a colleague of a professor. The faculty are great, friendly, and all come with several years industry experience. My first job was for a position that had three other finalists, all of which had a MBA. My experience at ACU as an undergrad won me the job. I have had two other siblings go through ACU. One is a doctor and the other a successful film director. We are all very different and yet we all found success starting at ACU. For private universities with strong academics ACU is less expensive although still more than public universities. I recommend ACU to anyone looking for a strong academic university that still puts Christ and family as top priorities. |
