Yes, the post below me is correct. In VA as long as you maintain a C average in a VA community college you are guaranteed admission into a VA state school. So even those kids who didn?t do so great in high school or cc college can get into Tech, UVA, JMU ect. Everyone on this blog that loves to bash ODU do a bit of research. Also admission rate isn?t the biggest factor in regards to the academic quality of a university. As said by a previous poster those students who were on the border of admission almost always fail out. Most universities know this! There is nothing wrong with ODU. I have enjoyed my time here and almost everyone I know shares the same feeling. Half of these people wouldn?t be happy anywhere so please do not let them deter you from attending ODU.
