I absolutely love Miami University and really believe that it has something to offer everyone. I know that every school has a stereotype and I came here expecting to find that and I was pleasantly surprised that it was very different than I had imagined. The campus is more diverse then it may seem and everyone is so fun and friendly, I really felt that Miami became my home when I joined a sorority because it made the campus seem a lot smaller for me but if greek life is not something you are interested there are plenty of other on-campus groups and activities to be involved with. It seems like everyone is involved in something and you are constantly running into people you know or have met through someone else even on a campus with 15,000 students. The campus itself is beautiful and clean and although it's in Oxford, there is never a shortage of things to do on and off of campus, for the most part I would say students love to stay on campus and hang out uptown where all the shopping, bars, and restaurants are located…plus the bars are 18 and up so you don't feel left out as an underage student! I would recommend Miami to anyone, it is the perfect place for an undergrad education. |
