Statistical Analyzer:

Santa Fe is basically the last resort for all the local students who weren't accepted to UF or other "real" state universities OR dual-enrolled students trying to pad their high-school resumes for when they apply to the state schools.

Positives:

1) Faculty and staff are, for the most part, very knowledgeable in their respective departments. All professors I have had are very willing to do anything necessary to help you succeed. Most give you their home phone numbers to call if there's ever a problem.

2) All of the various campuses are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.

3) While I do not know this personally, I have heard that the nursing program is excellent, especially if you want to get clinical experience early in your education.

Negatives:

1) Althought the faculty are usually wonderful, their classes are crap. There are not many professors that are actually good teachers. I have not been challenged academically at SFC, and find myself doing busywork that will never be applicable in the real world. It feels like high school all over again!

2) The student body is, as a whole, not friendly. It's cliques resemble a drama-filled high school.

3) Dual-enrolled students get to choose their classes and schedules a full month before the regular college students. When regular registration rolls around, many of the top choice courses are already full and unavailable to the rest of the studnet body.

Advice: you can find a better school.
