Sure, a few things could be improved—such as a bigger parking lot, wider hallways, less students admitted each quarter—but besides those, attending this school has been purely positive for me. I have learned more here than I have anywhere else. It isn't all memorization, either. There actually is hands-on training, although if you expect to get a daily "fur-fix," then you're coming to the wrong place—go be a kennel tech. I have nothing but good things to say about the instructors. They genuinely want to see you succeed (just don't be late to class!) I love it when the instructors tell stories from their past experiences—a lot of the time, they're very funny! Except on test days (which, admittedly, there are a LOT of tests), you can expect to laugh almost every day—even on test days sometimes! If you're the kind of person who wants to party and socialize through college, you need to find some other school to go to. It is expensive, but then, other than community colleges, what college isn't? Study hard, don't be late to classes, be sure to turn your cell phone off or on vibrate, and PAY ATTENTION, and you are sure to succeed at Bel-Rea! |
