Statistical Analyzer:

TAMU reminds me of shows where people are brainwashed in cults and eventually escape and reflect on their experience and 'come to their senses'. It is a major university in Texas, major funding, and major brainwashing—disquised as school spirit. Seriously, Aggies bleed maroon and they are on blood thinners making them bleed out! It is the most intense thing that I have ever experienced. School spirit (aka football/other sports to some degree) are deemed more significant than education. I rarely can reach professors. They seem to have no time, too many students to deal with, and no desire to help. The campus is nice, kind of 70's style buildings, with some new ones (Astronomy, Engineering) but the larger issue is the lack of attention to the student's needs. I would rather get an education than to hear the BS about Aggie traditions—enough already!
