Statistical Analyzer:

When I first entered the business school, I was told my upper level classes would be of 40 people or less. I have yet to be in a class of less than 75. If you are ok with little teacher-student interaction then this should not be a problem. Finance is the second largest major in the school, so maybe that is why I have not had a great experience. I think I can honestly say I have not made a connection with one finance professor.

As for CSPD (Center for Student Professional Development), they are great. I have gotten internships with two Fortune 500 companies. You definitely have to initiate this yourself though.

Most importantly, the "Fox Advisors" are absolutely horrible. I have had nothing but problems trying to get help figuring out classes to take, switching majors, general inquiries, etc. Even when I did go to figure out my last 4 semesters of classes, my advisor FORGOT to write down Making an appointment online is difficult, and god forbid you need to speak with someone during their busy times. There are literally lines out the door the beginning and end of the semester. Once you get an appointment, also be warned they are not very helpful; they expect you to know exactly what you want and get irritated if you ask a question that can be found on the website. The department seriously needs to add more advisors, it's ridiculous.

Overall, I think if you can find your niche in the school you will be ok. I have never gone to another large institution but I would assume they have the same problems.
