Wow…where to even begin with this place. It is perfect for gay boys growing up in small towns who love the idea of living in NYC but couldn't get high enough test scores for NYU or Columbia. I hate to bash a school but I wish I hadn't ruined my chances of making the right decision the first time around and chosen a fairly challenging school. Instead, I got stuck living in a 2 room (more like studio) apartment with 6 girls in bunk beds. Not only do you live a mile away from "campus", but the building is full of people constantly waiting at elevators and no dining hall except for when you are at school. The meal plan allows for a few places in the city to go but this is NOT anything to be excited about. They randomly search rooms…I felt very violated even though i had nothing to hide. The people are arrogant, conformist, and constantly crave attention. The classes are a joke. I placed out of math which was cool at the time, but find myself needing to take classes not even offered at MMC to get a real degree. Please reconsider attending here. i wanted to live in NYC and well…I wish I had placed more emphasis on getting a quality education with awesome people. |
