I ended up dorming at a SUNY and wasted a year of my life. I transferred into CSI and most of my credits rolled over and could use most for my CSI degree. My major was competitive since most of my classes consisted of middle-aged mothers who would stop at nothing to get their A. I am a great student but I have never been a straight A student. I eventually changed my major to English, with a concentration in Linguistics. Although there are a number of English professors, there was only 3 Linguistic professors. Granted, the major is small but I had one professor three times (in a row). It truly isn't a bad university. My problem is, like many, is the advisers and administrators. You will LITERALLY be driven in circles. No ones gives you a straight answer. You will never know what you need to graduate, when you will graduate and it seems no one follows the same rules. I would recommend this school solely for the price and degrees but be warned of what you are getting yourself into. |
