In fact alot of JMU students are extreme partiers and druggies.. I would guess 1/2 of JMU freshman transfer or fail out after the first year… I had to leave after 1 semester due to a medical withdrawal.. 2 of my teachers (GCOM and GECON) could not speak english and were rude as HELL!!! The business school in showker hall is good, but its a weed out major and alot of the professors do not give a damn about u… I will be going to a smaller school… JMU is what u make of it if u come with friends or join clubs u will have a good time… But the awful location, lack of things to do, too much partying and other factors like trying to get a decent class schedule due to the amount of kids and other things really brought down the experience for me… |
