I did not like St. Johns. Thankfully, I am transferring. If you came here to study to be in New York, go someplace else because it is in the middle of nowhere. If you want to be babied and still need to feel like you're in high school, by all means, go to St. Johns. Public Safety is nice, but the rules they have to enforce are over the top. My classes were ok, for the most part. Studying abroad was great, the laptops are ok. They spend all their money on the basketball team and the church. Don't expect much of your tuition to come back to you. With finances, they are stingy. If you owe them as little as one cent, they will freeze your entire account. I felt like, for what I was paying, I should have had more available to me. I was bored. Some of my classes were very good, but most were mediocre. If you don't care much about having fun, being challenged, living in a bustling area, or you are a republican, go to st. johns. You will fit right in. Plus, most of the people are so lame. |
