This school is kind of odd.

The first two years are hard. The lower division classes are all bull sh*t. Lots of busy work, no real value, and the instructors are usually not very bright. Unless you make some good friends the first couple weeks of school, it is hard to meet new people. There are a lot of events on campus, but they are usually boring and no one attends them.

If you make past the first two years this school can be great. The upper division coursework is very fun and challenging. If you have a lot of friends there are parties every night. Monterey has a lot of fun things to do, but you have to go out and find them.
