I'm at SCAD-Atl therefore the experience is extremely different to that of Savannah. I was in Savannah for ten weeks, and I hated it. SCAD-Atl is wonderful. Well worth the time and the money, wonderful resources, teachers and shorter lines than Savannah. I have met many of my idols in the last couple years through the school: Colson Whitehead, Janece Shaffer, Margaret Atwood, among countless others. We did not attend lecture we had small-ten person-round-table-discussions with these people, at the Literature Center Ivy Hall. Personally as a person who does not use financial aid, i would suggest that if money is a huge problem for you, go to a different school SCAD is an expensive once in a lifetime experience, but most private colleges are. |
