Roger Williams is what you make it…period. Everyone that says there was nothing to do didn't take the time to go out and look for it. I will say that this is not a school where you can walk down "Frat Row" (or some equivalent) to find a random party to go to last minute on a Saturday night. However, if you put yourself out there and make an effort to make friends, you will always have a place to party or something to do. The intramural programs are awesome (again something you have to go out and sign up for…you can't sit around hope someone will ask you). Ultimately, as I said, you have to (and will) make your experience what it is. If you want to have friends and a good time you can. If you want the course work to be challenging and intellectually stimulating, it can be. Or you can sit in your room all day everyday alone, get alright grades and blame everyone but yourself for your horrible college experience. It's your call. |
