Statistical Analyzer:

I was a creative writing major in High School, and knew I wanted that to remain a part of my life but not a career choice. I chose MSV based on the fact that they offered a creative writing minor, and the campus is gorgeous!! They offer a Fonthill award for a full ride if you submit the best writing essay. On top of that, they offer great academic scholarships and financial aid because they are a private/Catholic college. Some other perks that come along with that detail is that the classes are nice and small for personal attention and growth, and if you get caught doing illegal acts on campus—its not brought to the police. The school handles it within the system! We have wi-fi and free laundry for now.

There are some negatives as well. The cell phone reception in the Freshman and Sophmore dorms suck. It was depressing trying to have convos to home, and not being able to properly. Furthermore, 40% of the schools population is commuters. This makes it difficult on the weekends, because no ones in the same boat. It's all about whether or not you're going home. Considering this fact, there aren't much activities on campus during the weekend and the food seems to be worse.

The campus is gorgeous all year round. I deem most departments to be available and helpful. The only one I've had problems with is the math department. None of the faculty is American, so accents are difficult to understand in class. Being a part of a solid foundation like the Sisters of Charity, whether you're religious or not, has been a great experience. The diversity on the campus is another reason I came here. It always keeps classes and social interaction interesting and fun. It also helps when finding your life long friends through clubs and organizations on campus. The people are who keep you sane, and the education is what can guide you to success.
