Here's an email from the Chief of Police regarding rape/sexual assults that happened last week: "Important message from University Chief of PoliceDear students, staff and faculty,I am writing to make you aware of incidents of sexual assault involving students that have occurred on our campus during the past three weeks. The University Police Department and other university resources are respondingto these reports in every possible way and addressing them with the utmost seriousness.A total of four incidents have been reported, including one case of alleged rape. In each instance, the involved parties were acquaintances, and all four victims are students. All involved parties have been contacted and interviewed by our department. None of these incidents are related, and there is no known threat to the community." No wonder the violent crime rate at this place is out of control. The police here don't think that rapist and molesters are a threat to the community. Also, when a woman stabbed her husband to death, the Monterey County district attorney dropped the murder charges against her because the CSUMB campus police testified on her behalf. |
