When you do find a major you're interested in the counseling faculty of that major acts as though you are bothering them by asking them questions about the major. They are not helpful in speaking to you and telling you what is needed, they just point you to a website with information and do not try to explain anything to you. I have a sociology minor and it's the same way with their department. I thought it was just the college of liberal arts, but I have friends in the college of education and they feel the same way. The advisors do not try to help you pick proper classes so you can graduate on time. They want you to stay as long as possible to pay the ridiculous tuition that the education you're receiving is not even worth. If I knew before I entered what I know now, I would've went to Penn. |
