I don't see what's with all the butt-hurt reviews are about. Marist is a decent college (though I am sure it depends on your major). As a Computer Science major, I've been satisfied with the program and the faculty in the department are helpful.

Yes, there are plenty of idiots on campus that enjoy nothing but getting trashed, just like any school. Poughkeepsie is no worse than any other city I've been in. Sketchy? Sure, but I've never had any issues.

All in all, Marist is a decent place with a crappy football team for those of you concerned with spirit. When I was a freshman I had plenty of stuff to do to keep me occupied. And now as a Junior I am getting accepted into an awesome job.
