Johnson and Wales University is a great school. I'm in the process of finishing up my MBA in International Business and also earned my undergrad here as well in Finance. The reason why I chose to come here was because after comparing the finance programs of all the local colleges and universities in the local area, I believed they had the best program at half the cost. It was also located in close proximity to my place of residence and the professors are employed in the fields they teach (which has led to some great internships and now job opportunities). I did have the opportunity to attend a different university when I finished my undergraduate program with a 3.68 GPA, but, I had became very comfortabe with the school and was happy with the education I had earned, so I decided to stay here for my MBA. I have to say that the entire experience has been great. I feel I've received a great education while still being challenged, but not overworked to the point of misunderstanding or failure. I have read some of the more dated posts on this website and firmly believe that the students who have posted these poorly written and/or vulgar comments are either not students here or are those that will not make it to their sophmore year. Johnson and Wales has a well rounded student base here from all different cultures and localities, the administration has been extremely helpful and understanding during my time here, and I feel I have received an excellent education during my time at Johnson and Wales. I recommend this place to anyone.
