Madison was too big for me and I did not find a way to fit in soon enough. Don't rely on your freshman dorm to supply you with friends. Find some extracurricular activities that suit you. That said, I had a good experience and loved the campus and the city of Madison.

For those of you with the grades and scores, I'd also recommend considering the honors program.
