Wonderful education at a great price. Most of my teachers were wonderful, and I was always impressed with the high percentage of my professors who went to the top PhD programs in the US (Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc). While I understand that some people felt overwhelmed by the size of the school and difficulty in making connections with similar students, I have also heard this complaint from friends at other top public universities (UVA, UCBerkeley, UNC). If you make the effort to join a range of activities and take advantage of the wonderful opportunities at UT, then you will have a great experience. |
