Came from California, experienced a strong college campus lifestyle vs big city university. A lot of time you can get bored but thats what its about, gather a bunch of friends and socialize, work on school projects together and create a postive social aspect, which is very important now a days to be a "people person" to get a job. I would recommend freshmens to do 1) Study Abroad, 2) join one of hundreds of social / academic clubs.
