$$$ That's all Wake Forest seems to be concerned about, is you wallet. The school itself charges an exorbitant amount for tuition and plans to keep raising it several thousand dollars each year in the next 3 or 4 years. You'll get slapped left and right with fees and surcharges! You buy your books and then are forced to pay for your own Webassign accounts and Applia and if you don't you fail the course because your teachers are probably wrapped up with their own research and don't have time to care about your performance. Good luck parking your car anywhere within a mile of campus because all the lots near school are for commuters and if your unloading stuff to your dorm room expect to get a fine, even if school is out. Did you forget to become friends with your drunk RA? Hope he doesn't report you for not vacuuming your room over break, and good luck appealing any of your tickets and fines because

you were issued a ticket so you must've done something wrong.

Everything here is about what your parents own and who has the biggest beach house. The student body as a whole is pretentious. The academics are okay, but it's mostly just busywork assignments that you've already done in HS except the teachers expect it their way or you're doing it wrong. They don't care if you're learning the material, just that you're filling in the right answers. I'd say it's a fair bet to announce that half the math department doesn't speak english, I had a calc teacher who could just point from one line of a problem to the next and say "this go to this" If you're a smart kid and want a decent education go somewhere where they actually care about you and not just so they can spend your tuition on some fancy new welcome center or lame commercial.
