If there's one thing you should know before choosing to go to Marietta College, know that it's exactly like high school. They take attendance in classes, don't allow laptops, and the number of students (around 1300) was the same size of my high school. It seems quaint and friendly at first, however I can see the repeat of high school- the cliques of athletes, sorority and fraternity members, and the theater students. Even from the beginning, orientation was a mess- the orientation leaders would show up to the activities drunk, and the students in Leadership knew each other before everyone else arrived, leaving people like me completely excluded.
