BEWARE OF THIS SCHOOL AND THIS CITY. If you come here, you will not leave, at least not for a while. The city is lathargic and the school is, for lack of a better word, dumb. I feel like I am high school all over again and I have a hard time taking this school seriously. Small classes are ok, and good teacher approachablility, but that doesn't mean much when the course work is a joke. The parties suck, the social life is non-existant, people are ignorent, ignorent ignorent. I went here because of the aviation science program and it turned out to be a HACK. The airplane that we were using was awful, and unsafe at times, the school recently bought a new plane which is nice, however we can only fly for 4 hours a week when our course syllabus tells us that we must have over 100 hrs to complete the class so it is impossible to complete, hurting my gpa. It has taken some time for me to finally get out of here, I will either be going to NC State or UNCC in hopes of a better college experience.
