This college has turned out to be the BIGGEST disappointment of my life! Professors cancel class way too much, Residence Life is absolutely no help, the administration is incompetent, and oblivious to what goes on around this place, and student involvement is a joke! The college's teacher ed. program lost it's accreditation a couple of months ago, despite the fact that they were warned about this three years in advance, and chose to do nothing. So if you want to be a Teacher, DO NOT come here! Unless you're into athletics, or going out and getting high or drunk all the time, you'll be bored out of your mind. However, Wesley does have some positives to it. As far as academics are concerned, the Nursing and History Departments are the only two real academic departments in this school. This place truly has the best Nursing program and History department in the area. Not too long ago, there were the deaths of 2 current students, and 2 recently former students all within a few months of each other, and I think the Administration handled that very well. While I am very cynical of our admin, I don't think they could've done a better job. So over all, I would recommend that you don't come to Wesley College. Go to another college where you actually get your money's worth. Considering the high tuition we all pay to come here, you do not get the bang for your buck |
