I've written 3 very detailed reviews for this awful institute, and all 3 have been filtered. Here's hoping that this makes the cut-

Bottom line-SFAI will not teach you technical skills and drive NEEDED for being a successful artist. They had some great teachers when i was there, but recently cut the entire staff. The school is blind+money hungry. There is nothing else to say about the administration other than the people living in mansions thanks to your dollars. For the most part the instructors don't care about your future, and the ones who did look out for you were cut when the entire school went under. I find it hard to believe that anyone would want to spend 120k+ for a school that will just let you slide by in an unmotivational environment. You can be the biggest slacker and get straight A's here. Great- so with that, you now have a useless degree and no drive for success. I learned the most after leaving this school for the film industry, and I got into it- from my own devotion to learning. This school is a joke. Don't waste your time. If you want technical skills and staff that aren't completely brain dead- go to CCA or AI. Oh by the way- nice view, but you don't have to pay to see it. Neither do the hundreds of tourists that wander around here whenever they want!
