im a rising sophomore nursing student at the mount. I'll start by saying I gave the mount a fair chance. The mount has screwed me over time and time again. The students here are a disgrace to society. I've been the target of mass harassment at the mount. (yes bullying in college) It started with one person, and now the entire campus is involved. I have never questioned taking my own life until I got to this piece of shit institution. Not only are the students obnoxious, immature, and undereducated, but the faculty is the same exact way. They favor (D3)athletes over students who actually do all of their work. The faculty rarely speaks english, and are overall completely unhelpful. Don't bother complaining because your complaints will always be held against you in future matters with the school. The residence life staff is the biggest disgrace to this entire institution. They are disrespectful, immature, and rude. The residence halls are disgusting, and poorly kept. Theres insects, garbage, dirt, and unidentified substances all over the place. People actually have urinated in the elevator. There was a "peeping tom" aka one of the sick fucks that goes here was taking videos of girls showering and posting them online, and no he was never caught (thanks reslife). Somebody also smeared their shit on the bathroom mirrors on a few occasions, and even went as far as to light the bathroom on fire. Forget it if theres ever a emergency, because nobody in a position of power knows what to do. When the building was lit on fire, the fire exit was locked (safe right?). I regret every penny I gave to the mount. Speaking of money, theyre awful with it! Theyll make charges on your account randomly, and wont lift the hold on your account until you pay their fictionally named charge. Yes, this happens, and yes they get away with it. I am an extremely social person, and extremely friendly…yet, I've made about 6 true friends here. This school is pathetic. You can take your chances and ignore the comments people make about it, but you will eventually regret choosing the mount. I'm doing one more semester here and transferring out. The nursing program here is definitely isn't worth my mental health deteriorating. This school took so much out of me, most of it I will never properly recover from.
