They truly only care about the profit they are/will be making. During my first semester I added 12 hours and unfortunately had to drop them (for a reason initially caused by the university with my loans). I was reinstated again in those courses later "accidentally" and STILL had to pay for them to continue, even though I had been told I would not be reinstated and thus would not not have to pay. This type of money-making scheme has not stopped since and I am looking to leave Western as soon as possible. If you are considering going to this school, think again. You can get your money's worth at other substantially greater universities. If you are like most of the people I know at Western, you will likely be extremely dissatisfied with any decision to attend WKU. As for the professors, I have taken a very broad range of classes over three years and have only had ONE instructor that had any concern for the students. The ONLY positives to the University are: 1) the exercise you get walking up the hill, and 2) the campus looks nice in the spring.
