The university itself is full of standard administrative nonsense, but the department itself is incredibly supportive and shields their students from that to the best of their abilities. The research quality is top notch and the faculty are down to Earth and willing to help where they can. Despite inherent drama associated with any kind of work place, they all still manage to work and collaborate extensively and instill those important traits in their undergraduate and graduate students.The school may not have a huge name, but what you learn there will make you stand out amongst your peers in the field of Biology regardless of school name! |
