The Bad: Winter weather is brutal, and you will be an hour from any major city (Albany & Binghamton)

The Good: Great party scene, tons of bars, clubs and parties. Everyone is really friendly and it's so easy to make friends and meet new people. All the freshman buildings are BRAND NEW. Tons of greek life. Real "college feel" to it. Oneonta, NY is home to two colleges: SUNY Oneonta & Hartwick College, so the town has about 8,000 college students roaming it's streets. Lots of clubs, ltos of sport teams, lots of events, lots of on and off campus housing options. A GREAT school with a solid academic reputation.
