The saying is Maritime is a good college to be from and not a good college to be at and I find that to be true. The work training is challenging and applicable however the rules are arbitrarily enforced depending upon the student. Within the regiment rules change from year to year. Additionally they have accepted more students than they have accomodations for both in the classroom, in the dorms and on the cruise ship which is required training. Rather then trying to be helpful to their upperclass students they make it very difficult to meet requirements for requisite courses and cruise by having limited enrollment for classroom and lab spaces. Plan on it taking 41/2 years or longer to graduate. |
