I could have gone anywhere. I got accepted at Pitt. I chose Temple because it is close to home, yet far enough to have the experience of living there. I was assured that the campus is very safe and well-lit. That there was a large police force ensuring safety at all times. It's not true. I wish I would have gone to Pitt. People are getting murdered, beat up and robbed at random in broad daylight, even with a group of people. Where are the police?!! I am a hostage in my home which is only two blocks from school. My roommates and I are afraid to go out. So much for the college experience. I just hope I live through it! Do not go here. Go anywhere but here.
