I would love to talk about how good or bad the University is but since I put my application in for the DNP program on 1-23-2011 called to talk to Mike Jamison on multiple occasions. E-mailed _email_removed_ and called on several occasions w/o reply or returned message. Today I finally reach Mrs. Lavier and she states that I applied to the wrong school. When I asked why Mr. Jamison did not tell me this on multiple conversations, Mrs. Lavier has not comment. If this school of nursing customer service is like this for prospective students I don't want to know how it is to get in contact with someone. Other NP students (that quite the school due to lack of communication) informed me that applying to this college was a waist of my time but I did not listen. After this experience I am floored about the lack of communication and customer service skills UAB has. I feel as though they lied to me when I called to talk about my application.
