It was hard to meet people because of coming in the middle of the year, but students are usually friendly. There are a ton of clubs and organizations to join. Joining an activity is the best way to meet people, especially if you are an out-of-state student. Students that live nearby often go home every weekend, which can be slightly annoying for people that don't live nearby. Professors are friendly and willing to help. People really like to talk about how cold and windy it can be, but it really is not that terrible. The only real negative thing for me is the lack of mountains in Nebraska. Overall I have learned to love UNL and I'm so glad I transferred. |
